With the start of a new year, I am looking for contributors to help keep this blog interesting and relevant to the volunteers in the Woodland STARS program. Ideally, I would like to fine one tutor and one mentor (at least) who would agree to make one post a week. I will try to make one post each week and we will have three new posts.
You would not have to commit to a specific day of the week, but it might help you remember if you do. I would like to hear about new resources you have found, significant experiences with your student (but no names) or just thoughts to share with the other volunteers. It does not have to be earth-shattering, we are a small group and I just want to share what we are going through and learning. If you do not want to use your name, we can set it up so that your name will not show on the post (I think, but I will work very hard on this if you want it.) This will also be a chance for all you writing tutors to share your skills with each other and write something for the group.
Please get back to me and I will help you set up a WordPress account and start blogging.
Thanks
