The events page has been updated with dates for August and a few things more. It even has the dates for the winter break in December now. (We don’t expect people to be putting these dates in their calendars yet – but it’s there for your reference.)
But please take a look and add the dates that are coming up, especially the STARS Thanksgiving – a party we look forward to all year.

The 2nd Annual STARS Thanksgiving is approaching. Tuesday, November 18that 6:00. The turkey, ham, homemade macaroni & cheese and stuffing and drinks will be provided. We are asking that our volunteers bring a dish to share that is traditional to your family Thanksgiving. Mrs. Coliton is finalizing the location on center that the dinner will be held and will get that information to you. This is a buffet and like last year, it is our hope that we will all be sitting down at one very long table.
For planning purposes, we need to know no later than Wednesday, Nov. 12th if you will be attending, how many will be attending and what dish you are planning on bringing. Last year we had lots of desserts so depending on the responses we may ask someone if they are willing to bring something else. We had a great time last year just relaxing and enjoying getting to know one another. It was particularly great for the students to see the tutors in a different atmosphere than academics.
Hopefully you will be able to make it to this fun event help us share the spirit of thankfulness. Don’t forget to let Mrs. Coliton know by Nov. 12th if you will be able to make it, how many will be coming and what you are bringing.
